Industrial M2M & IoT Modems

We offer a range of connectivity products, including 4G USB Modems, 4g LTE routers and 4GX Serial Modems. Our most recent products are designed for NB-IoT and Cat-M1, two new technologies that offer greater range and reduced cost at a reduced speed. Our range of 4G Industrial serial modems are designed for remote metering, SCADA and serial comms. They are most often used in the electricity metering industry and feature a robust ABS case with an RJ-45 connector for power and RS-232 serial. Our SAM modems can also be used as 4G Industrial USB Modem’s if RS-232 is not available. Our SAM modems are designed in Australia. We also offer a range of 4g router’s for providing connectivity to Ethernet devices. Our eSAM modems come with one or two Ethernet ports for wired devices such as meters, security cameras or SCADA equipment, and with built in Wi-Fi for Wi-Fi cameras and remote access points.Intercel also offers a range of antennas, to support various mounting points and applications including automotive and M2M.

What is Machine-to-Machine (M2M)?

Machine-to-Machine (M2M) is the exchange of information, over the mobile communication network, between a machine such as a data logger and a central control centre. This information or data is then analysed, processed and remotely monitored and managed. Intercel specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of industrial 4G LTE modem routers, 4gx modem routers used to connect Machines and transfer data over the mobile communication network (GSM/GPRS/3G/4G).
